London Drawing Group’s weekly Feminist Lecture series is led by LDG co founder Luisa-Maria MacCormack. Taking place each Monday evening via zoom, this series features a range of lectures delivered both by Luisa herself, and by a range of incredible guest speakers.

Luisa’s core classes vary from old Art Herstory favourites such as our very first gallery tour; Female Sexuality and the Male Gaze, to lectures which explore the Feminist History of Religion, Medicine, Female Artists and even Menstruation.

Our guest speakers are many and varied, with previous classes exploring; The Genesis of Black Feminism in Art (Bolanle Tajudeen), The Vulva’s Pilgrimage: Medieval Vulva Badges (Noam Yadin Evron), and Viewing Art by ‘Immoral’ Artists: Picasso, Women and Philosophy of Art (Daisy Louise Dixon) to name a few.
